We fell in love with these Holiday Birds stamps by Dina Wakley and just has to play as soon as they arrived.

Love the simplicity of this card and the colours work well together.  Great to use my white pen again - cannot craft without my white pen.

Best go and create a few more projects - only got an hour today so need to get crafting!!!!

A crafting weekend... Getting Floral...

We really needed an afternoon of crafting and as the weather was not great it meant this could become a reality.

Really pleased how this card has turned out and so simple.  I have used the Heartfelt Creations Rose Blossoms stamps and stamped on yellow Teresa Collins paper and white card and then fussy-cut out.  The white flowers were then inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Going to make a few more of these cards in different colours

Weekend Crafting from Inspire Creationz

 Inks, Mask, texture paste and stamps have come out! Love this colour combination as it looks fresh and spring-like!

One thing I would say is that masks / stencils are a must have for any craft box as I look how I can make different backgrounds and inks stand out quick and easily!

New Emerald Anniversary Card from Inspire Creationz

Been asked to make an Emerald Anniversary card for a Friends Mum and have been playing around on this design for a while now as I usually don't use a lot of green on my cards.

I think I am finally happy with this card now...

Stamps, Masks & Texture Fun.....

Spent a lovely Bank Holiday Monday crafting and was determined to create a card with techniques I have used recently on MDF projects.

I started this card off with two Memento Inks - Teal Zeal & Peanut Brittle - love this colour combo!!!!

By using masks and stencils I was able to create texture to the inks.  A little bit of texture paste through the mask added even more texture to the bottom left corner.

The wording "Live, Laugh & Love" were created in word and printed out onto white card and then cut out and inked to match the card.

Finally, I used the Indigoblu Butterfly stamp which was inked using Versfine and once dry was cut out and inked using the two Memento inks.

Those of you that know me will know I struggle with busy cards as I normally like minimal and clean but loving this style at the minute.

Whilst the inks were ut I made a few other cards which I will share with you tomorrow.

Who's having a crafting weekend?

Weekends seem to be the only time I can spend quality time crafting now.  This weekend is no exception.  I have 3 Birdhouses like the one pictured above to make for friends and I am really want to get the clay out so I can use my new silicone moulds.

Don't You Just Love IndigoBlu Stamps......

We just love stamps!  Finding beautiful stamps has always been part of our ethos at Inspire Creationz as you can do so much and create beautiful cards with nothing more that a stamp and ink.

We are loving IndigoBlu Stamps at the minute both the large sets and the Dinkies as the quality and detail just cannot be beaten.

The stamp used on the card above is the Indigoblu Elizabeth Bennett.  I have also used 2 shades of blue Promarkers to colour the flowers and then added a fine line of Glamour Dust which this photo has not picked up due to the miserable weather here in Leicester!

This stamp could easily be decoupaged also by layering the flowers - something I am going to try next!!!!!!

A little Crafting today ..... Butterflies, Butterflies Everywhere.... Easel Card

After a busy week last week I finally made some time to get my crafting stash back out.  

Gone are the wintry colours and I just couldn't resist this lush teal paper from the Dovecraft Basics IV range.  The papers co-ordinated perfectly with the butterflies I had in my embellishment box.

A little water-colouring finished the look of the Inkylicious stamp.  I just love it when one element can lead you to the next with cardmaking.

If I am quick I can get a bit more crafting in before lunch :-)

Vintage Style Christmas Card - Inspire Creationz

Here at Inspire Creationz we are loving vintage inspired cards at the moment with brands such as Graphic45 and Kaisercraft releasing products perfect for this theme.

This card has been made with Kaisercraft Topper Sheet and the free paper pack received inside Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine in November.

We also like how the black card really makes the red of the paper pop - we will certainly be making more of these cards

Inspire Creationz Scraps Challenge......

Quick card for you today as we have set ourselves a little challenge at Inspire Creationz to use up all our scraps and keep the cards as simple as possible.  I found a lovely mitten pattern online and just had to use the Dovecraft Nordic Christmas Papers.

I am going to make this cards in lots of colours as the Nordic pattern works fantastically with the simple white of the card...

Rememberance Day Handmade Poppy Card - Inspire Creationz

Been having a play with the Hero Arts Stamps and Versafine Inks.  Finished off with Red Promarkers and a little Glossy Accents.....

Here is a close up on the petals which have been stamped twice and then decoupaged using foam pads. The Glossy Accents really make the flowers pop...
