Did you make your Valentines Day Cards this Year?

Happy Valentines Day everyone - a day of love.....

Who's made Valentines Day cards this year? I had a play and had to keep hiding Rob's card as he kept coming into the room as I was trying to finish it! Really wanted to keep them simple this year so made a few..

Loved how a little bit of Glossy Accents really made the hearts pop!

We would love to see your cards too!

Kaisercraft Treasured Moments Butterflies Handmade Card

Just LOVE the Kaisercraft Treasured Moments Stamp set and after making this card I knew this was the project to teach at our class yesterday.

I don't know about you, but sometimes I look at the stamp set and may only like 1 or 2 but this set I love them all!!!!

Love how these two colours work so well together also - trying really hard to get out of winter colours and back more vibrant!!!

Masculine Card - A little birdie told me...

The inks have come out over the weekend - happy times!

After clearing away the Christmas tree and giving the house a quick clean it was time for the inks to come out again after the festive break. I honestly did not feel like crafting over Christmas and it didn't help that most of my craft stash had been packed away to make room.

I made a similar version of this card at the back end of the year and loved making it so just has to make another one.

I love how the embossed cardstock looks dramatic once you add ink!!! So simple and effective!

Are you back crafting after the Christmas break?

Mixed Media Gift - Love It!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.   I just had to share this fabulous mixed media box I received as a Christmas present from Sharon.

This was a plain wooden box that she painted with acrylic paint inside and then used a number of different techniques to build up the materials to create the textured finish.

I cannot wait to use this box on my desk - love the colours and the way the texture looks different depending on how the light hits it.  Got to try this myself now - hope she will teach me how it is done!!!!

Claire -with a huge thank you to Sharon xxx

First Edition Falling Leaves Paper Pad - Beautiful Papers!!!!

Fabulous First Edition Falling Leaves Paper

If you see this pad in your local craft shop - please pick it up and have a look at the fabulous papers inside as I think the front cover does not do this pad justice.

Everyone I have shown the papers have said they would not have bought it as it looks too plain from the cover but once you can see what you can achieve they are beautiful!!!!

Kind Regards
